Dear Clients,
We’d like to provide a complete update on the current VOD maintenance and upgrades so everyone has a clear picture of where things stand to date.
Over the past several days, we have been working around the clock to rebuild and upgrade our entire VOD infrastructure. Roughly 50% of our VOD has always been hosted on our own servers and remained operational, while the remaining issues stemmed from limitations with a temporary third-party provider. This upgrade permanently removes that dependency.
4K Movies have been fully restored and are tested, stable, and running smoothly
Major backend upgrades are in progress to improve stability, speed, and long-term reliability
Series migration is actively underway
Over 700 Series were initially restored
An additional 1,200 Series are currently being uploaded, bringing the total to roughly 2,000 Series
Once remaining files complete transfer to the new storage servers, the full Series library will exceed 5,000 Series
Overall loading speeds have already improved and will continue to improve as the rollout completes
As part of Phase 1 of the new VOD system:
All Series were temporarily wiped
Series are being re-added progressively over multiple days
We are nearing completion of 4K Series, with 1,000+ additional Series queued to be added shortly
On January 19th at 2:00 AM ET, we began the Movies replacement process
All Movies are being wiped and re-uploaded to the new infrastructure
This process is expected to take only a few hours
Once complete, buffering issues affecting 1080p and 720p Movies will be fully resolved
Completion of remaining Series uploads
Completion of Movie re-uploads
Launch of a new request platform where resellers can submit Movie and Series requests on behalf of their clients
Additional performance improvements and new VOD features releasing this month
We understand this has been a lengthy and sometimes frustrating process. Large-scale data transfers and infrastructure changes take time, but these steps are being taken to ensure long-term stability, faster loading, and a significantly better VOD experience moving forward.
At this stage, support tickets regarding VOD are not required, as the work is ongoing and actively monitored. Further updates will continue as we approach full completion. An exact ETA is not possible at this time, but we are aiming to finalize all VOD maintenance later this week.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support.
